Danny E. Ward Sr.

Danny Ward Sr. of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 68. Danny was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 6, 1954, to parents, Floyd Sr. and Ruth (Webster) Ward.

Danny worked for the Town of Fishers as a Chief Operator for Waste Management. Danny’s favorite hobbies were golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. Danny loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Danny married Kaye on February 5, 1987. They spent 36 wonderful years together, she survives. He is also survived by sons Danny (Whitney) Ward Jr., Mark (Tamara) Ward, and Douglas (Jenna) Ward; grandchildren Easton, Jace, Nolan, Connor, and Reese; sisters Ruthann (Bob) Rusie and Jimmie Cunningham.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Sr. and Ruth Ward; brothers Floyd Jr. (Skeeto) and Billy (BB).

Visitation will be held from 3-8pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East- 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
