Daniel William Loprich passed away July 1, 2022 at the age of 50.
He was born August 13, 1971 in Hammond, IN to Martin and Marcia Loprich.
Dan is a 1989 graduate of Munster High School. He went on to obtain his Bachelors in Sales with a Minor in Psychology from Ball State University in 1994 where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta. He spent his career in Sales in Transportation and Freight.
Dan is a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He enjoyed boating and water activities on Bass Lake with his family. He was an avid follower of Phish and the Grateful Dead and often traveled to see them in concert. He always had a project. One of his hobbies was home winemaking, and he generously kept his friends and family well supplied. He loved helping others and was a best friend to many. He will be remembered as a family man with a big heart, a great sense of humor, and an infectious smile.
He is survived by his wife Allison Loprich; children Katherine and Benjamin Loprich; mother Marcia Loprich; sister Kristine (Matthew) Schmidt; nephews Brandon, Alex, and Jared Schmidt; mother-in-law Marcia Petty; father-in-law Carl Dickey; Aunt Irene and Uncle Medynsky; cousins; and his beloved cats Stella and Kitchu.
He was preceded in death by his father Martin Loprich.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 10 from 2 to 6 PM in Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 11 at 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8115 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Contributions in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
