Daniel Wesley Lindsey, 49, passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023, where he resided in Brownsburg, Indiana. He was born on August 16th, 1973, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Rhonda Crosley and Steven Lindsey. Daniel was the only son of five children, and he was loved and cherished by his entire family. Daniel studied at Central Hardin High School in Cecilia, Kentucky, graduating in the class of 1991. For the last decade Daniel was employed at Maplehurst Bakeries. He began as a “B level mechanic” and worked his way up to being an “A level mechanic”. Following this, he was given the role as a Team Leader. At his time at Maplehurst, he became certified in several different fields. Daniel is survived by his father, Steven (Margo) Lindsey, sisters Shantelle (Ralph) Moore, Raechelle (Jason) Conley, Jenelle (Mike) Carter, and Elizabeth Farris (Brian Jordan). He also leaves behind his fiancé Jennifer Moran, daughter Kayla (Jordan) Hill, sons Chase (Marissa) Lindsey, Hunter Lindsey (Kayleigh Minner), and daughter Madison Moran (Reece Dodd). He is also survived by his two grandsons, Liam and Asher Lindsey, as well as countless nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends. Daniel is preceded in death by his mother Rhonda Maxine Crosley. Daniel was nothing short of an amazing person, approaching everyone he met with selflessness and his unmatched sense of humor. He put on a strong persona, but he had a heart of gold. He never failed to put a smile on someone’s face with his unique yet outstanding personality, and he made sure to have a special connection with everyone close to him. Along with the admirable person he was, Daniel brought with him many hobbies. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer, and his favorite past time was to be out on his boat with his family. His top priority was always to make sure his family was happy, and he took pride in everything he did. To know Dan, was to love Dan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 24th, 2023, from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway 2950 N High School Rd, Speedway, IN. A Catholic Mass will be held in Daniels honor on the following Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church-3354 W 30th St Indianapolis, IN 46222. The burial will be immediately following the mass, at St. Malachy West Cemetery-4492 E US Highway 136 Pittsboro, IN 46167. All memorial contributions can be made to either the Riley Children’s Foundation, or the American Heart Association. All online condolences are welcome and encouraged.
