Daniel W. Musgrove

Daniel Musgrove, age 80, passed on Monday, September 23, 2024, in Avon, Indiana.

Daniel was born on June 11, 1944, to Jack Musgrove and Elizabeth Musgrove in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Daniel grew up on the eastside of Indianapolis and attended Arsenal Technical High School.

Daniel married his best friend Mary (Lutane) Musgrove on April 8, 1961. They were married for over 60 years and had 6 children together.

Daniel worked as a union plumber for most of his life and retired from Indianapolis Public Schools as a plumbing department foreman.

Daniel is survived by his daughters Karen Hodge (Bryan), Kathren Mitchell (Brian), Karla Musgrove (Linda McFerron), Katrena Parker (James); son Kristofer Musgrove; brothers Robert Musgrove (Shirley), Mark Musgrove (Patty), sister Sharon K. Musgrove, 17 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, brother Steven Musgrove, son Kenny Musgrove, and daughter-in-law Janell Musgrove (Kristofer).

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 2 – 3:30 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225) with funeral services following at 3:30 pm. Brian Mitchell will preside.
