Daniel L. Green

Daniel Louis Green, 72, of Fairland, IN, passed away January 11, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Howard Earnest and Dorothy Ellen Green on February 14, 1947.

He graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to serve in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He went on to work at Methodist Hospital for many years in their maintenance department, retiring after 32 years of service.

Daniel had many passions, including all-things Harley Davidson. He spent much of his time exploring the states on his bike and made the annual trek to Daytona Bike Week in Florida. He also enjoyed deer hunting and was known to spend much of the fall and winter months in nature.

Daniel is survived by his partner, Marcella Green; three adoring daughters, Kimberly LeBeau (Phillip), Dawn Foote (Andrew Fly) and Danielle Green-Southerland; Grandchildren, Gabrielle LeBeau, Grace LeBeau, Josiah LeBeau, Jonas LeBeau, Elijah Taylor, Alizabeth Foote, Andrew Green (Briana), Breannah Smith (D.J.), Daniel Smith (Jessica); great grandchildren: Levi Green, Andrew Green, Jr., Aaliyah Smith, Damon Smith III; caring siblings, Earnest Green (Janice), Judith Parrish (Randy), Deborah Kallina (Roby), Douglas Green (Nellie) and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Earnest Green and Dorothy Ellen Green; grandson, Frankie Andrew Green; great granddaughter, Kai Lyn Smith; aunts, Evelyn Goode and Myrna Smith.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4PM to 8PM with visitation continued the following day, Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 11AM to 12PM with a funeral service to begin at 12PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, 46229.
