Daniel Joseph Renninger

Daniel Joseph Renninger, 58, passed away on March 7^th, 2023.  He was born on June 12, 1964, in Fort Wayne IN, to Arthur and Julia (Schaab) Renninger.  He studied chemistry at Purdue, earning his master’s degree.  Dan began his career at E-A-R Specialty Composites as a bench chemist where he met his future wife, Jennifer.  Dan married Jen on February 19, 2000, and they have two daughters Evelyn (19) and Cecilia (13).

Dan’s career continued with E-A-R and after an acquisition, 3M.  Dan held positions in technical leadership and business development over the 25+ years of his career.  His current position was as VP of Aerospace and Commercial Vehicle Sales with 3M and he had a passion for leading and empowering people.

Dan traveled the world for both work and with family, visiting 43 different countries over his life.  In addition to travel, Dan loved gardening, cooking, biking, and hosting family and friends.

Dan is survived by his parents Art and Julie, wife Jen, daughters Evie and Celia, sisters Becky and Angie (Fred), brother Rick (Janis) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 13^th at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville from 4-8 pm and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14^th at 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
