Daniel Joseph Wagner, 79, of Oaklandon, IN, passed November 11, 2016. He was born November 18, 1936 to the late Harry and Edna (Blemmings) Wagner in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. He had a degree in Criminal Justice and was a Criminal Investigator with the military retiring in 1974 after 20 years of service including a tour in Vietnam where he was a recipient of a Bronze Star. He was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Edna A. Wagner, children: Daniel J. Wagner, Jr. (Sandra), Dawn L. Chance (Eric), Barabary Yockey (Kenneth); Sister, Faith Ford, brother, Charles Wagner (Judy), grandchildren: Katherine Jones (Ian), Moira, Cheliedh Chance; great-grandchildren: Shane, Melody and Nadia Jones.
A memorial service with military honors will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday.
