Daniel Dean Segner of Indianapolis died January 26, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 64.
He was born January 19, 1956 in Anderson, where he lived until the late 1990’s. He worked for 26 years for CMW and spent his last 5 years with Carrier as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
Dan will be remembered for his kindness. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in benefit rides, hunting and fishing with his nieces and nephews, and loved his pets. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Deborah J. Segner; mother Mary Elizabeth Segner; sister Tonya Bennett (Rick); brother Tony “Richard Anthony” Segner; brother-in-law Steve Phillips; sisters Sandy, Lori, Carla, Sheila, and Debbie Frodge; special nephew Dennis Thompson, great-niece Millie Williams, nephew Josh Hartley, and niece Whitney Reed; pets Punkin, Moo, Champ, and Axel; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Raymond Segner; sisters Christine Phillips and Teena Frodge.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 3 from 4 to 8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 4 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4650 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
