Daniel B. Parsons

Age 90, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away June 11, 2017. Daniel was born in Appalachia, Virginia on October 20, 1926. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from Chrysler Corporation, where he worked as an inspector. He was a member of the American Legion Post 495. He enjoyed gardening, working with cars and spending time with his beloved family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Ruth (Banks) Parsons and sister, Helen Roberts. He is survived by his children: Daniel J. Parsons (fiancé, Starr Miller) and Lisa Carbone (Stephen); grandchildren: Daniel J. and William R. Parsons and Stephen A. Carbone; great-granddaughter, Morgan P. Parsons; and sisters, Billie Blackwell and Betty Mullins.

Friends may call from 11am until 1pm on Friday, June 16, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, where funeral services will follow at 1pm. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
