Dale Alan Hogle

Dale Alan Hogle, passed away on April 22, 2022 at the age of 77.  Dale was born in Washington, IN on October 7, 1944 to parents, Donald and Anna Stella (Pendygraft) Hogle.  He graduated from Southern High School and went on to attend the University of Louisville.  Dale served his country honorably as a Sergeant (SP5) in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  During his career, Dale worked for Indiana Bell, retiring as a Communications Manager.

Dale was a member of Life Church (Fishers) and former member of Calvary Temple of Indianapolis.  He loved music, especially the Gaither’s and singing in several church choirs.  He also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, golfing and most importantly, spending time with his beloved family.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Stella and his half-brother, Don Hogle.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Susan Carol (Peyton) Hogle, whom he married on November 27, 1971; children: Stefanie Guthridge (David Holmes), Brett Hogle (Katy) and Wendy Hogle; grandchildren: Bradley Guthridge (Loula Whitler), Hayden Hogle, Bryce Hogle, Skye Schwab (Cory) and Jhade Parks; twin brothers, Jerry Hogle (Mary Jane) and Terry Hogle and half-sister, Ruth Hitt; as well as many other loving extended family members and beloved friends.

Friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, where funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 30^th.  Dale will be laid to rest at a later date at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
