Craig Steven Phelps

Craig Steven Phelps of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2025, at 58 years old. He was born on June 5, 1966, in Indianapolis, IN to Thomas and Vickie (Stanton) Phelps. Craig currently worked for On Demand Staffing as an Area Lead for the Ecology program at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. While working for Stagehands he collected memorabilia from the various events. He was an avid card player and enjoyed playing poker at the American Legion. Craig also enjoyed watching football and documentaries on history. He had a soft spot for babies and animals.

Craig is survived by his mother, Vickie Phelps, his sisters; Chris Eaton (Dennis Stancil), Cindy (Gary) Stroud, Corrie (Mike) Stevens, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Flanner Buchanan in Decatur Township. Memorial Service immediately following led by Troy Jones. Flanner Buchanan has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
