Craig Edward Horter

February 27, 1960 — June 29, 2018

Westfield, Indiana

Craig Edward Horter, 58, of Westfield, IN, passed away on June 29, 2018 after a long and brave battle with cancer.  He was born February 27, 1960 to Bayard and Priscilla Horter of Milwaukee, WI.  He was the beloved husband of Anne Lutz Horter for 23 years, father of Adam and Christina Horter, grandfather of Sam Horter and Nick Palm, and brother of Doug Horter.

Craig graduated from Butler University in 1983 with a degree in pharmacy.  He worked in retail pharmacy for 35 years, most recently with CVS in Kokomo.  Craig was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Butler.  He was a long-time member of Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.

Craig enjoyed golf, especially with his church group. He was an avid Green Bay packer fan since childhood.  He and Anne enjoyed many vacations visiting family.

Craig will be greatly missed by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and two special aunts.

Thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at St. Vincent Oncology who cared for Craig throughout his twelve-year cancer journey.  Thank you also to Transitions Hospice, who beautifully cared for Craig in his final weeks.

His funeral service will be held on July 13th at 11:00 am at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
