Cornelia Connie- Bevel

Cornelia “Connie” Bevel, 92, Indianapolis, passed away May 29, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis to Michael and Bertha Karandos. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. She was secretary of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for 20 years, retiring in 1998. Connie was an active member of the Daughters of Penelope and the Philoptochos Society. She was a musician, loving the piano and singing. Connie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Major Joseph C. Bevel, Jr., brothers, George Karandos, and James Karandos. Survivors include daughters, Karan (David) Craig, Angela Bevel, brother, William Karandos, grandchildren, Jessica Roberts and Melissa Craig, great-grandchildren, Seth Roberts, Saige Roberts, Masen Trowbridge. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 3500 W 106th St, Carmel, IN 46032. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., from 5-8pm, with a Trisagion service at 7pm.
