Corinne C. Civils

Corinne C. Civils, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 6, 2019.

Corinne was born on October 5, 1928 in Hermitage. Tennessee to the late Theodore and Rosa Colley. She was an active member at Bethany Christian Church for many years and worked in the kitchen at Bunker Hill Elementary School and cherished all the friendships she made. Corinne enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her daugher, Mary Ann Miller (Bob); granddaughter, Tami Carter; grandson, Jimmy Civils (Stratton Weaver); great-grandchildren, Wesley Carter, Dylan Carter, Easton Civils and Asher Civils; and daughter in law, Barbara Civils. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Civils; son, Mike Civil; and grandson, Dwight Miller.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
