Coravin Genece Scheidt

Coravin Genece McKeag Scheidt, 93, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2018.  She was born November 1924 in a Nebraska farm house. After graduating from high school in 1942 she became a registered nurse. In 1948 she married Norm Scheidt, her beloved husband of 62 years. She was a dedicated Christian and a devoted and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always giving, enthusiastic, genuine and compassionate, with a quick smile and laugh.  She was proud of her Nebraska farm heritage, and was fond of telling people that any common sense her children have came from her. She is survived by her sons  Tom, Martin and Dan; six grandchildren, Michelle, Ryan, Chris, Tom, Peter and Philip; and three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Mason, and Charles. A memorial celebration will be held 2 pm Saturday, August 25 at Robin Run Chapel (5354 W. 62nd St.), followed by a time of visitation
