Connie Lynn North

Connie Lynn North, 65, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully in her childhood home on December 6, 2018.

Her childhood dream of being a nurse was fulfilled. As a LPN, she worked both in hospitals and nursing homes (her main love). She loved caring for people. She also had an interest in Indian History, collecting Indian jewelry, dolls and paintings. She loved drawing and crafts. She loved her pet Chihuahuas. Connie loved her family most of all, and her children will always remember her making them laugh. She will be missed sorely by all the lives she has touched.

Connie is survived by her mother, Hazel Caperton; her children, Tabitha Shands (Sam) and Nathan North (Rebecca); siblings, Vickie Sims (Melvin), Debbie Dillon (Jeff), Timmie Caperton (Tammy); grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Sierra North, Kaitlyn North, Logan North, Jesse Phillips, and Riley Good; great-grandchildren, Ella Allen, Leeland Allen, Zi’layah North, and Ronae’jah North.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, O.L. Caperton.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4-7PM at Flanner Buchanan—Floral Park 425 N Holt Road. Indianapolis, IN 46222. A funeral service will begin at 10AM on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the funeral home. Connie will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
