Connie Lee Pollard, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017.
She was born on October 4, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Margaret B. (Holland) Coleman. Connie graduated from Southport High School and worked for many years with Carson Ford in Clermont and Smart Ford in Danville. She was transferred to Cleveland, OK where she was the General Manager of a Ford Dealership. After moving back to Indianapolis she became a Realtor, and worked with DuBois Realty until her retirement. Connie enjoyed sewing and embroidery, she also spent time knitting and gardening. She was most at peace sitting on her porch reading a book. Connie loved to travel with her husband, and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ronald L. Pollard; children, Niki (Eric) Rembold, Ron J. (Cathy) Pollard, Shelly (Tom) Welch, Melody (Ronnie) Walters; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Connie is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Carmer; and her cherished canine companion, Cassi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 12noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East with visitation 2 hours prior to the services.
