Connie L. March

Connie Lea March, of Carmel, passed away May 11, 2017. She was born September 3, 1948 in Montgomery, West Virginia to the late Edward J. Dombrosky and Goldie (Blevins). In 1995, she married Commander Joseph H. “Joe” March, United States Navy.

She worked for the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. and later served as an administrative assistant for the Supreme Court of Indiana. She was proud to be a licensed Amateur Radio Operator with the call sign of N9CLM.

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 22 years; children – Kimberly (Juan) Long, Thomas Brian Hess, Andrea March, and Angela Kaufman; two sisters, Janice Kirby and Glendene (Dale) Bailey; six grandchildren, Aaron, Jordyn, Kaden, Dawson, Chelsey, and Ben; nieces and nephew, Donna Jean Shabdue, Judy Lynn Delaney, and Rodney Canterbury. Connie was preceded in passing by a granddaughter, Kayla.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
