81 years old,of Fishers, Indiana passed away on March 28, 2016. He was born on December 4,1934 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky to the late, Ralph M. and Bessie C. (Belcher)Ramey. Col. Ramey served proudly for over 25 years in the United States Armybefore his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Keystone ChristianChurch, the Viet Nam Vets, the American Legion, and MOAA. He was known for hisloving and giving spirit to all who knew him.

Col. HubertD. Ramey is survived by his son, Donald Ramey (Lynn); three grandchildren, BethRamey, Zachary Ramey, and Daniel Ramey; 1 nephew; several nieces; several greatnieces, and great nephews; sister-in-law’s, Gale Ramey and Von Wogoman. He waspreceded in death by his loving wife, Bobbie Ramey; parents, Ralph M. and BessieC. Ramey; brothers, Col. Ralph Ramey, Jr. M.D. and Terry Ramey.

Family and Friendsmay gather from 9:00am-11:00am Saturday, April 2, 2016 with Funeral Service at 11:00amin Flanner and Buchanan-Geist 7855 E. Cork Rd. Indianapolis. Burial will followin Madison Co. Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Richmond, KY.
