Claude -Ron- Midgley

Claude “Ron” Midgley, age 80, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2017. He was born on April 17, 1936 to Claude E. and Bertie Midgley.

After serving his country in the U.S. Army, he attended Butler University. He retired after a long career as a banker with BankOne (formerly AFNB). He was a charter and founding member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, soul winner, and treasurer. He was a Godly man who dedicated his life to his family and his Lord.

Ron is survived by his wife of 48 years Melva “June” Midgley; children Rick Raney and Kim Dawes (Stephen); grandchildren Lauren, Hunter and Taylor Dawes; and sister Patricia Midgley. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, March 7 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis with visitation 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
