Clarence William “Bill” Marsh, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 24, 2019.
Bill was born on November 22, 1936 in Indianapolis, to the late Clarence and Hazel Marsh. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1961-1965. He worked as an engineer analyst for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years before retiring in 1999. Bill was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene and sang in a gospel quartet group, Harvesters. Bill married the love of his life, Anna, on October 9, 1960, and together they enjoyed spending time on the lake in their sailboat and traveling. They made it to 49 states together including Alaska on their 50th anniversary, Canada and the Caribbean.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Anna M. Marsh; daughter, Susan “Reneé” Hay (Michael); son, Tracy Marsh (Monica); 3 grandchildren, Justin (Leslie), Cody, and Makayla Mulryan; great-grandson, Dalton Mulryan; and sisters-in-law, Carol Rossman (David) and Connie Marsh. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert “Bob” Marsh.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00am-12:30pm on, Monday, September 30, 2019 at First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 E. 25th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, with a funeral service to take place at 12:30pm.
Memorial contributions in Bill’s honor may be made to the church.
