Christy Lee "Chris" Williamson

Christy Lee “Chris” Williamson, 69, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully, August 15, 2020. Chris was born on November 20, 1950 to the late Malinda Alice (Williamson) Rumple who would marry the late Ronald Eugene “Gene” Rumple, beloved bonus dad to Chris. Chris married the love of his Life, Linda Eileen (Gravett) Williamson on June 18, 1977, sharing 43 wonderful years together and three amazing children, Aaron Williamson, Andrea Williamson Hess and Angela Williamson.

Chris held a variety of jobs over the course of his life, none took the cake like his job of being a Papaw. Chris cherished everyone of his seven grandchildren, Morgan, Kirsten, Allison, James, Evan (EJ), Milana, Aeda along with his bonus grandchildren, Justin Steele, Matt Steele, Jessica Sommers, William Sommers and great grand daughter Emmi Steele.

Chris grew up  on the westside of Indianapolis, where he spent most of his childhood with his cousins, which were more like brothers & sister to him, Riley Williamson, Alex WIlliams, Clifford Dale “Speedy” Williamson & Wanda Cummings and a host of many more cousins. He was raised by his mother, Malinda and his grandparents, Ora and Ivel Williamson, which they proceed in death.
