Christopher Thomas Morgan

Christopher Thomas Morgan, 40, Martinsville, Indiana, passed away on August 15, 2020.  He was born September 26, 1979 to Thomas Morgan and Cynthia Doss Melvin in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Chris was a 1998 graduate of Mooresville High School.  After graduating, he started in the workforce as a journeyman electrician earning his license in this field.  He continued a career as a licensed electrician until his death.

The most important thing in his life were his children Kennedy and Korbin.  His life was encompassed around his family.  Chris loved music, but especially loud rock music.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hiking.  Very seldom was Chris not smiling or laughing.  He always had an attitude that everything would works itself out in time.

Chris is survived by his children: Kennedy and Korbin Morgan; parents, Cindy and Dave Melvin (Waverly, IN); brother, Michael (Danielle) Morgan (Waverly, IN) and Aly Melvin (Whiteland, IN); nieces; Rylee Morgan, Lorelei Morgan, Myah Morgan and Raven Nesbitt; ex-wife, Jenny Young; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Doss; maternal grandmother, Ann Doss; paternal grandfather, Henry Melvin; paternal grandmother Margie Melvin; cousin, Steven Spinks.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services are private. Please contact the family for additional details. All guests are required to wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines. The memorial service will be restricted to 75 people.
