Christopher Michael Boyd

Christopher Michael Boyd of Indianapolis died November 18, 2020 at the age of 50.

He was born November 1, 1970 to Marilynn Boyd and the late Stephen Boyd in Willoughby, Ohio.

He was a 1989 graduate of Freehold Township High School in New Jersey.  He went on to receive his Associates degree from Ocean County College in New Jersey and attended Rutgers University to further his education.

He loved playing the drums.  He recorded music in both New Jersey and New York, as well as played in many bands.  He also enjoyed golf and baseball.  He was a special uncle to Emma who shared in his love of music and Lincoln who shared in his love of baseball.  He will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his mother Marilynn Boyd; sisters Susan Boyd Johnson (Mike Williams) and Traci Kritz (Gordan); niece Emma Boyd-Ryan; and nephew Lincoln Daniel Kritz.

He was preceded in death by his father Stephen Boyd and his beloved dog Ava.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 1 in Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis.
