Christopher “Chris” L. Durm

25, of Indianapolis, passed away June 16, 2019. He was born on May 16, 1994 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the son of Jeffrey and Kelly Durm.

Chris was blessed to be loved by his large family and his many friends. He rarely spent time alone and could always be found in the middle of any event enjoying the company of others. He was a dutiful son who always made time for his family. He helped Nativity Catholic School win three CYO city championships in football and another in wrestling. He loved to work on and race automobiles with his friends.  He took great pride in riding and maintaining his great-grandfather’s John Deere Type B tractor. Chris was an avid animal lover who would often dog-sit for his family and friends. He will always be remembered for being the first one to crack a joke as well as the first one to give up his seat for someone else.

Chris is survived by his parents Kelly Durm and Jeffrey and Amy Durm; his siblings Joseph, Samantha, and Colton. Grandparents Josette and Richard Randolph, Joyce and Edward Buckley, John and Deloris Durm.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes, 5333 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
