Christopher Scott Campbell, beloved son, brother and friend, passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1960, to parents H. Edwin Campbell, MD and Patricia A. Shue.
Scott brought light, humor, and music to every room he entered. A true original, Scott always marched to the beat of his own soundtrack, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A lifelong Hoosier, Scott was an avid fan of Indiana University sports, the Cincinnati Reds, the Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis Indians and the Indiana Pacers. He found joy in cheering for his teams, sharing laughs with family, and losing himself in the music he loved.
Over the years, Scott worked tirelessly in a variety of jobs, always earning his way and never asking for a handout. In his most recent role, he proudly called himself “The Cable Guy”—a title that brought him joy and perfectly suited his personality. His work ethic, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on coworkers, customers, and friends.
Scott is survived by his siblings, Daniel Lee Campbell (Tatyana), Timothy Taylor Campbell (Barbara) and Edwin Andrew Campbell (Sandy).
Donations in remembrance of Scott may be made to Indianapolis Indians Charities
A Celebration of Life of life for Scott is currently pending at this time.
