Christena Kay Johnson

Christena Kay Johnson, 71, of Zionsville, passed away on November 22 in Indianapolis.

Visitation will be 10am-12pm Thursday, December 2nd at Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville

Graveside service will be held following visitation Thursday, December 2nd at Mounts Run Cemetery at 12:30 pm.

Christena was born in Indianapolis, IN to Hilda and BK. Johnson on May 19, 1950.  She graduated from Zionsville High School where she then went on to attend Butler University, majoring in English Literature. She worked in graphic design and business communication for American Trans Air and Bryant Heating and Cooling.

Christena is preceded in death by her brother, Buren Keith, her parents Hilda and BK.

Christena is survived by her brother Thomas of Westerville Ohio, nephews Keith and Colin (wife Katherine, children Emma and Kieran), niece Sarah (husband Jake, children Ava, Elizabeth and Jack) all of Westerville Ohio. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Eli.
