Cheryl "Blondie" Darlene Sistevaris

Cheryl Darlene Sistevaris (Blondie), 70, Westfield, passed away Sunday August 26, 2018. She was born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. She lived her childhood years in Kansas and moved to Indianapolis and graduated from Arlington High School. Cheryl worked at Aetna Insurance and retired in 1997.

She was a prolific dancer and competed at a National level in Las Vegas as a young adult and also competed in Ballroom Dancing in the Midwest. Her favorite trips were with Kiros to see Broadway shows in New York and the traveling all over the world exploring as many beaches as they could find.

Cheryl loved going out to dinner with friends and laughing all night long. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Kiros Sistevaris, her son Jonathan Saksons, her beloved grandson, Aidan Saksons, and her Aunt Helen and Uncle Paul Dowden of Carmel, IN. Her loving nieces and nephews Anastasia, Ellie, Lauren, Madison, Spencer, Sophia, Ariana & Alexandros Sistevaris. Her Brothers and Sisters-In Law, George (Regiana) Sistevaris, John (Kelly) Sistevaris, Greg (Dana) Sistevaris. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Evelyn Bloom, of Carmel, IN.

Cheryl always thought funerals should be a celebration of life and not a mourning of passing, so in honor of that please wear her favorite color, pink!
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, August 30th at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, 325 E Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN 46032.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 110 E Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Visitation will be one hour prior.
