Cheri L. (Gangwer) King ,54, passed away at Riverview Health Hospital on Wednesday, November 23rd.
Cheri was born on March 7th, 1963 to Charlotte (Woolsey) and Phillip Gangwer. She graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1982 where she excelled in playing volleyball.
Cheri was a great mother and caregiver to any and all who were in need. She loved children more than anything and was close not only with her own children, but also with her nieces and nephews. Cheri was an avid tennis fan knowing all the players, even the hard-pronounced names of players from other countries. But her two favorites were Roger Federer and Serena Williams.
She will always be remembered for her caring and giving heart, and will be very much missed by all who were blessed with her love.
Cheri was preceded in death by her Grandmother Inez Monahan, her nephew Nathanial J. Gangwer-Adams, and her Granddaughter Ella Paschal. She is survived by her 3 children Lindsay Paschal, Nolan Henderson and Joshua Henderson. Cheri is also survived by her parents Charlotte and Phillip Gangwer; by her sisters Debra Hartle and Christina Gangwer, and her brother-in-law Randy Adams. She is also survived by her granddaughter Mariah Paschal; her nieces Abi and Amy Bruce; her nephews Elliot and Samuel Gangwer-Adams, and her great- nephew Scotty Bruce.
