Charlotte A. Bray

88 of Speedway, Indiana, passed away on November 4, 2024. Charlotte was born on August 26, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Nelson and Ruth Wootan. She retired from Daseke Insurance Agency. In her retirement she enjoyed being a crossing guard for Speedway Elementary School for 25 years. She was a member of the Daughters of America and a longstanding member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Bray, siblings, Sara Bell, Bill Wootan, John Wootan and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Della) Bray, Gregory (Teresa) Bray and Kevin Bray, her siblings, Meaetta Wootan Egbert Craig, and Joseph Wootan, grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Amberle, Ashley, Stephanie, Shandi, Matthew, Michael, Colton and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 2 pm with visitation from 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Entombment will take place at West Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
