Charles Leonard Luther, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the age of 69. He was born in Indianapolis on June 7, 1951 to Isaac L. and Mary E. Luther.
Upon Charles’ graduation from High School, he served his Country by joining the United States Marine Corps. During this time, he completed some college courses and obtained a National Defense Medal. After his honorable discharge from the USMC he went on to work as a plumber, advancing to the position of Journeyman.
Charles was a happy man who appreciated the humble wonders of life. He loved sunrises and sunsets and would photograph them every morning to share with his friends and family. He always saw the beauty in each and every day.
Charles was preceded in death by: his wife, Peggy Luther; parents, Isaac and Mary (Clayton) Luther.
He is survived by: his sister, Elizabeth (Ron) Rice; brothers, Lonnie (Vicki) Powell; Wayne Luther; nieces, Tina Riebel & Darlene (Kris) Jones; a large extended family of nieces, nephews and multiple friends.
