Charles K. Colgate

Charles K. Colgate, 82, of Indianapolis passed away June 25, 2018. He was born to the late Joseph Victor and Ruby (Hopkins) Colgate in Louisville, Kentucky on June 29, 1935.

Charles served time in the military and went on to work for Ford Motor Company for over 55 years. In April of 1958 he married his beloved wife, Kathleen. He was an avid bowler and member of the UAW. Charles also loved to attend mass as St. Joseph’s Church.

Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen (Galema) Colgate; daughter, Sharon “Blithe” Colgate; son-in-law, Syl Rogers; siblings, Ronnie, Stephen, and Shirley; niece, Lisa Colgate.

Friends and family may gather Friday, June 29^th for visitation from 12-2pm with funeral services beginning at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. Entombment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
