Charles E. Cooper, 68, of Indianapolis entered eternal rest on September 7, 2018.
He was born January 25, 1950 in Greenville, SC to the late Clarence Wilbour and Annie Eugenia Cason Cooper. He grew up in the South living in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia throughout his younger years. He moved to Indianapolis when he married the love of his life Diane. He spent his working career in the trucking industry as a Safety Manager. He had most recently retired from trucking and enjoyed his work at Tim’s Shooting Academy. Charles enjoyed shooting, grilling, and spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his wife Diane Curran; sons David Cooper (Serena) and Greg Cooper (Jennifer); grandchildren Caitlyn, Alaina, Emily, Kaiylie, Arianna, Isabella, and Declan; siblings John Cooper (Michele), Luanne Whang, Rose Parker (Tim), and Betsy Hurlebaus; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Laura Cason.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 12 from 11 to 1 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis with Funeral Services beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
