Charles Conrad Lively, 81, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born on March 27, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Forrest P. and Mary (Faulconer) Lively. Charlie, or “Connie” as he was known to close friends and family, was a 1955 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and was honorably discharged in 1959. Charlie went to work for Western Electric, and dedicated 37 years of service prior to his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening and woodworking. Charlie is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 59 years, Charlotte (Robinson) Lively; daughter, Leigh Ann (Mark) Burris; grandchildren, Bill, Matt and Lauren Burris. Charlie is also survived by his sister, Sharon Canfield; several special nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Zoey. He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Lively; sister, Patricia Turner; and brother, Wilbur Lively. Visitation for Mr. Lively will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Funeral services will take place Thursday morning at 11am, also at the funeral home. Burial with Military honors will be in Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following.
