Charles “Chuck” Hess, 70, of Pittsboro, passed away on January 6, 2021. He was born on September 12, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Herbert and Mary Hess.
Chuck married Joyce Hess on August 19, 1972, and they shared 48 beautiful years of marriage.
Chuck was a heavy truck parts sales representative. He took care of his customers and helped to keep trucks on the road. He attended Avon Christian Church. Chuck was also a member of the New Horizons Bass Club. He enjoyed fishing and boating with his friends and family. He loved music, movies, fast cars, and fast boats. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and watching their sporting activities. Chuck had an infectious laugh that brought joy to everyone.
Family and friends will fondly remember Chuck as a loving husband, devoted father, caring grandfather, and avid fisherman.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Joyce Hess; daughter, Carey (Jayson) Munoz; son, Ryan (Bonnie) Hess; sister, Rebecca Gray; grandson, Matthew Munoz; granddaughter, Marissa Munoz; grandson, Benjamin Munoz; grandson, Carter Hess; grandson, Landon Hess.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Hess; mother, Mary Hess; brother, Herbert Hess; and brother Phillip Hess.
Chuck was a strong, loving man with a big heart, and he will be greatly missed.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, the family will be holding a private memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis or Avon Christian Church.
