Chance R. Evans, 38, left this world too soon, on October 31st, 2024. He was born July 26th, 1986, in Indianapolis, to his parents Tim and Cheryl Evans.
During his upbringing in Indianapolis, Chance developed a strong work ethic early on. His latest and longest standing occupation was as a skilled trade journeyman, installing flooring for the Local 364 Union where he was respected among his peers and served as a mentor for many within his industry.
Chance was a strong, loving gentleman with a big heart that he wore on his sleeve. His earliest of hobbies and interests ranged from anything involving a motor or music, to playing video games, or various outdoor activities, such as off-roading or competing in extreme car audio competitions. Chance had a gleaming soft spot for animals and children, who were always equally drawn to him as well.
His greatest joys in this life were found in teaching and helping others whenever there was an opportunity for it, expressing himself through his craftsmanship and art of all kinds, and spending quality time with friends and family, most especially his children.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Tim and Cheryl Evans; his wife Rebecca Bolick; his beloved children Timothy, and Abigail Evans; and his brother Bryce Evans; Grandparents Larry and Linda Fox, Margaret Toll; and many other loving extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents James Lincoln Evans and Marjorie Ann Evans, and son James Montgomery Terrell Evans.
Visitation for Chance will be Friday November 8th, from 12-4pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. His service will begin at 4pm. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery with his son after cremation.
