CECIL OUNES JONES, JR

Cecil O. Jones, Jr. was born on October 27, 1947, in Clinton, Kentucky, to Verbal and Cecil O. Jones, Sr. He passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2025, at the age of 77.

Cecil graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, and spent over forty years working as a dry-cleaning delivery driver.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Cross; two sons, Timothy A. Jones, Sr. (Sarita) and Thomas L. Jones; and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and loved ones

Cecil was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty years, Judy K. Jones; his parents; his brother, James Jones; and his son, William “Billy” Jones.
