Cecelia Diane Shinn

Cecelia Diane Shinn of Camby, Indiana passed away on October 11, 2024, at 79 years old. She was born January 25, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Frank and Cecelia Louise (Sink) Kratoska. Diane, as she was affectionately known was a devoted Christian and enjoyed working with the youth in her church for many years. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, handicrafts, and spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be missed. She is survived by her children, Linda Poore, John O. (Patty) Shinn, Jr., Trish Smith, Terry Shinn, her 11 grandchildren, her 8 great grandchildren, and her brothers, Richard and Frank Kratoska. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John O. Shinn, Sr., and her sister, Agnes Cross. The family invites you to celebrate Diane's life with them on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Amercian Legion Post #64 601 S. Holt Road Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.  Flanner Buchanan Floral Park is entrusted with assisting the family with the cremation arrangements. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
