Cathy Lynn Wallsmith - Jackson

Cathy Lynn Wallsmith-Jackson, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Cathy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 23, 1955 to Thomas and Lucille Wallsmith.
Cathy was one of the most caring and outgoing individuals this world has ever seen. Not only would she reach out to people all the time on a personal level, but she devoted her professional life to caring for others as well by working for 25 years as a surgical nurse at Methodist hospital. In 1993 she joined the Army Reserves to help better serve her Country.
Cathy was preceded in death by: her mother, Lucille (Sutton) Wallsmith; brother John Wallsmith; father, Thomas Wallsmith and a nephew, Jesse Wallsmith.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her son, David E. Jackson; brothers, James (Kay) and Richard (Joyce) Wallsmith as well as a host of many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis and the American Cancer Society.
