Cathy Ann Taylor

Cathy Ann Taylor, 73, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. She was born on October 1, 1948 in Indianapolis to the late Wayne Richard and Alpha Lillian (Garner) Orlopp.

Cathy was a 1967 graduate of Warren Central High School where she developed many close friendships that she maintained for the rest of her life.  Cathy worked in various roles for MacAllister Machinery, retiring in 2019 after over 30 years of employment.

Cathy had a kind heart, caring for stray and wild animals near her home.  She was active with the American Legion on Post Road and enjoyed lunch with friends and shopping.  Cathy was most comfortable at home and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Matt Kiesling; granddaughters, Rylie, Sydney and Annie Gendron; and brothers, Rick (Cindy) Orlopp and Greg (Kathy) Orlopp.  Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Stanley A. “Scoop” Taylor; and her daughter, Angie Gendron.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2-4pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with a funeral service immediately following.  Cathy will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
