Carrie Lynn Cooper, 60, Fishers, went home to be with her Lord on November 29, 2020.
She was born in Bluffton, IN to H. Richard and Ruthann Fickle (Pribble). She is a graduate Ball State University, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 1983 and her master’s degree (Education) in 1986. Carrie taught elementary school for 33 years. The last 30 years of her teaching career were spent with Hamilton Southeastern Schools at Fall Creek Elementary. Carrie dedicated her life to serving others, especially children. Her service to children included being a girl scout troop leader, high school youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School instructor, and adult leader on multiple mission trips. Carrie also served as a band mom, cross country / track mom and choir mom. Carrie was also passionate about the cause of adoption, and spoke at numerous events in promotion of this cause. Carrie was known for her kindness, generosity, and sharp sense of humor.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, H. Richard, and her mother, Ruthann. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Robert, daughters, Becky and Libby, and siblings, Sara, Nancy (Steve), and Joe.

A memorial service will be held Saturday December 19, 2020 at 1pm at Venture Christian Church, 14501 Hazel Dell Pkwy, Carmel, IN 46033. A memorial visitation will begin at 11am, with the service commencing at 1:00. Online condolences may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
