Carolyn "Terry" Franklin

Carolyn “Terry” Franklin, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 82. She was born in Indianapolis on December 29, 1936 to Vernon and Sarah (Ervin) Franklin.
Carolyn proudly graduated from Crispus Attucks High School, and during her time there she even got to be their mascot – the Tiger! She attended Indiana Central for college upon her High School graduation. Terry worked as a Lab Tech for Methodist throughout her professional career, retiring in 2004 after 38 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and had a knack for being able to light up a room with her witty and sharp humor. She enjoyed travel and was very fond of lighthouses. Softball and tennis were two of Terry’s favorite sports to play and she earned her brown belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving life partner, Janice Bond; brothers, Hershal, Virgil (Carolyn), and Lorenzo; and sisters, Lois, Maxine (Willie), and Beverly (Charles).
