Carolyn "Sue" Williams

Carolyn “Sue” Williams, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away November 3^rd, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, November 2^nd, 1940, to parents Oran and Helen (Schwab) Pointer.

On September 17^th, 1960, in Detroit, Sue married the love of her life, Thomas Williams. They shared 61 wonderful years together.

Sue held various careers over her lifetime. She was a secretery for Windsor Jewelry for several years before she retired.

Sue was a vibrant, loving woman. When she and Tom were younger they loved to travel, camp and fish. For 10 years, she and Tom lived in Florida, soaking up the sunshine and boating. They also particiapated in the Petty Coat Junction square dancing club. Sue was a very talented seamstress, and loved sewing, quilting and embroidering. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading romance novels. Above all, Sue adored time with her family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Sue is survived by her husband Tom Williams; children Collette (Greg) Johnson, Robert (Cherie) Williams, and Thomas Williams; grandchildren Abigail, Tyler, Lynlee, Serena, Kyle, Orion, Evan, and Adam; great-grandchildren Ruby, Grant, Kade, and Scarlett; her brother John (Judy) Pointer; niece Pam and nephew John.

Besides her parents, Sue is preceded in death by one beloved great-grandchild, Kain.
