Carolyn Sue Eynon, 75, Indianapolis, passed away April 9, 2018. She was born August 10, 1942, in Oneida, KY, the daughter of the late Robert Harris and Ethel Osborne. She was raised in Hamilton, Ohio by her grandparents, Henry and Lilly Harris. Sue received her Master’s degree in education and enjoyed a fulfilling 25-year career as a kindergarten teacher for IPS Louis B. Russell Jr. School 48. She was an active member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered with the children’s ministries. She loved to read and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her two children, Andy (Debby) Eynon and Katie (Robert) Orr; and five grandchildren, Isis, Drustin, and Ashton Eynon and Sarah and Sam Orr. For the last 19 years Sue devoured audio books, magazines, and news that was provided as Free Matter for the Blind by the Library of Congress and the Indiana State Library. The Library of Congress makes recorded, large print, and Braille books, magazines, music, and the equipment to play the media available at no charge to US residents with visual limitations.
