Ms. Carolyn Louise Mooney (née Campbell), 89, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born on November 12, 1935, in Chesterfield, Tennessee, Carolyn grew up with a deep appreciation for learning and faith. She graduated from Bradford High School in Bradford, Tennessee, in 1953.

Carolyn had a strong work ethic and spent her career serving others. She retired from K-Mart Corporation and later from the Silent Unity Prayer Ministry. Her time at Silent Unity began in 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri, where she worked on the prayer lines, offering comfort and guidance to those in need. Throughout her life, she remained a dedicated student of A Course in Miracles for over 30 years, embracing its teachings and sharing its wisdom with others.

A devoted member of Unity Church, Carolyn played an instrumental role in helping to guiding the Chaplain’s Program. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, shaping her kindness and generosity toward others. She was known for her hard-working nature and unwavering devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Ron Mooney (Connie Wood), Terry Mooney (Bernadette Billerman-Mooney), Tammy Long, and Carrie Lynn Mooney; her sister Sandra Wimberly (Donnie Wimberly), 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie F. Campbell and Carry Campbell (Clay); nine brothers and sisters; son Joel Mooney; daughter-in-law Diana Mooney (Joel); son Michael Mooney; daughter-in-law Kim Fisher Mooney (Michael); grandson Zachary Long (Tammy and Tim Long) and granddaughter Joelle Mooney (Joel and Diana).
