Carolyn Jean Tunison

Carolyn Jean (Hightower) Tunison 82 of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2017. Carolyn was born on October 20, 1934 in Kokomo, IN to Hubert and Marjorie Hightower. Carolyn was a bookkeeper where she worked for the Community Action Center of Greater Indianapolis retiring in 2013 and she also worked for H and R Block Tax Services where she retired in 2015. Carolyn knew and loved her Lord and was a member of the New Covenant Christian Life Center and her family was her mostly important things in life. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Vern Tunison in 2001, her daughter Lynn Renee Dillard and her granddaughter Holly Ann Tunison and her great-granddaughter Angel Amos and a brother in law Robert Martin. Calling will be held on June 03 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 9 to 11 am followed by a Graveside Service at Lincoln Memory Gardens at Noon. Carolyn is survived by her son Mark Allen Tunison and her granddaughters Tabitha (Patrick) Amos and Kaitlin (Dexter) Kelley and her great-grandchildren Madison and MaKenzie Kelley and Zac Amos, siblings; Thomas (Jo) Hightower and Sue Martin.
