Carole Jane Jones

Carole “Janie” Hedge Jones was born in Indianapolis Indiana,January 4th 1939 to her loving parents Alietha and Berley Hedge. She had a happy childhood with her two brothers Richard “Dick” and Derly Hedge. Janie graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1957. Went on to meet and marry Larry Jones of Canton Ohio. They had a full life of travels and much Shriner fun. She was a long standing member of the Smyrna Shriners and Shriner Guild of America. So many masquerade Balls! Janie worked for GE, O’Mailas In there offices and later she and Larry opened Wimpys Wonderful Wieners.

Janie’s best days were spent pool side on a sunny day with a cool drink and one of her little dog friends. There were many over the years. She spent many of her last years in the care of American Village. She even earned a new nick name of C.J.

Janie is survived by her in laws Judy and Richard Kuntz and their daughters Michelle and Kimberly of Canton Ohio.

Derly’s daughter Maggie Hedge Merriman and her husband Gavin and there children Darby Jo and Cade.

Derly’s daughter Rose Hedge Glauberman and her husband Aaron and their daughters Alietha and Irma.
