Carol Sue Hollon

Carol S. Hollon of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 67. Carol was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 4, 1955, to parents, George and Ora (Foster) Bell. Carol worked as a Meat Processor for over 40 years. She was a very strong, courageous, and hardworking woman. Carol was known for always having open arms and an open door for all her family. She enjoyed watching soap operas like General Hospital and Days of our Lives. She loved to spend time with her family by the pool or taking a vacation to the beach. Carol loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Carol married her middle school sweetheart, Ronald Hollon, on June 10, 2002. They spent many wonderful years together, he preceded her in death on June 12th, 2010.

She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara and Ronnie Roecker, Eddie and Helen Bell, daughters, April Hollon (Edward Kersage) and Angela M. Kersage; grandchildren, Ashley (Jesus Lopez), David, Jacob, Jessica, Jennifer, Allyson, Codie, and Danielle Bell; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alan, Avery, Garrett, Sterling, Onyx, and Matteo, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents George and Ora Bell, beloved husband Ronald G Hollon, son in-law Jason Kersage , brothers Donald, Virgil, Larry and David; nephew David Jr and Matthew; sister in-law Madalin; and many loved ones.

Services will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street Indianapolis. Visitation is on Tuesday, January 24 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
