Carol Lynn Spears Peats

Carol Lynn Spears Peats passed away at her home in Indianapolis, Thursday May 4th, 2017, at the age of 64. Carol was the beloved daughter of Milton "Bud" Randall Spears and Rose Marie (Petty) Spears.

She graduated from George Washington High School. She worked as a teaching assistant at Stephen Decatur Elementary. She was a remarkable seamstress, even making her own clothes. She enjoyed football, collecting old movies and cooking for others.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Randall Eugene Spears. She is survived by her parents, Bud and Rose Spears, daughter Monica Cantrell (Brad), Grandchildren, Myranda Shafer (Rob), Nickolas Cantrell and Benjamin Cantrell. 3 great grandchildren, Kaiden, Robby and Ellora, Sister-in-law Teresa Spears, Nieces and Nephews, Jennifer Lucas (Rod Criswell), Casey Spears Johnson, Taylor Patterson (Billy), Presliee Grace, Jeff and Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in her honor.
