Carol LaVon Davis, 80 of Indianapolis, passed away on October 31, 2018, and was born on April 13, 1938 in Indianapolis.
Carol loved spending time with friends and family. Christmas and Thanksgiving were her two favorite holidays because it meant her whole family was gathered together. She enjoyed throwing her annual Indy 500 Bash and cheering on her beloved Colts and Pacers. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and always used her winnings to treat others to a nice dinner. Carol was a longtime member at the Moose Lodge #17. She was a caring and compassionate woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Carol leaves behind her children, Pamela McDonough, Dale Pitcock (Debbie), Wendell Davis Jr. “Bud” (Linda), Victoria Stallard (Gary), LesLee Hill (John); 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, first husband Dillard Dale Pitcock and second husband, Wendell Alan Davis Sr, who both left this earth too soon.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00-6:00pm on Sunday, November 4, and 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, November 5, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
